The National Teachers Subsidy Act Changes Teachers Salaries!
The proposed National Teachers Subsidy Act is designed as a modern disruption of the traditional way teachers are paid. The National Teachers Subsidy Act contains the following elements: 1. 1. A 5-year guaranteed salary from the Federal Government as a Subsidy. 1.2 The pay of $35,000.00 a year for 5 five years. This is broken down into a monthly stipend. 1.3. The payment shall be exempt from Federal, State income taxes. 1.4. The subsidy grants a $5,000.00 bonus after five consecutive years. 1.5 The subsidy applies only to public school teachers who work in k-12 grades. Teachers must have a B.A. or B.S. degree. 1.6 The subsidy is paid in addition to the regular contracted salary. 1.7.
